This site (impression.timelapse-3d.com) is Timelapse 3D's on-demand 3D design and printing service: an AI-powered 3D modelling Studio (generating a parametric model from text or photos, with STL/3MF export) and a manufacturing service (3D printing, laser engraving, UV printing) carried out in our workshop in the Var.

Credit system

AI model generation works on a credit basis: a welcome credit is offered when you create an account, and additional credit packs can be purchased online (secure card payment via Stripe). The exact quantities and prices are shown in the Studio at the time of purchase.

This site and its content (text, interface, code) are protected by copyright. The Timelapse-3D trademark and its logo are registered trademarks of Timelapse 3D.

User-generated models

The 3D files (STL/3MF) generated from your description or photos belong to you: you can download them, modify them and have them manufactured wherever you wish, including outside our workshop. Timelapse 3D does not use your descriptions or photos for any purpose other than generating your model.

Timelapse 3D complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This section serves as the privacy policy for this site.

Data collected

• Studio account: email address and password stored in hashed form (or Google identity if you sign in via Google);
• The descriptions, photos and 3D models you submit for generation, as well as your creation history;
• In the event of a manufacturing order or credit purchase: billing/delivery details and payment data, processed directly by our provider Stripe (Timelapse 3D never stores your bank details);
• Technical data strictly necessary for the site to function (session cookie, described below).

Data processors

To operate the service: OVH (hosting, France/EU), OpenAI (generating 3D models from your description/photos), Google (sign-in via Google, where applicable) and Stripe (online payment). Your data is never resold to third parties.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses).

Retention periods

Account data and generated models are kept for as long as your account remains active. You may request their deletion at any time. Accounting records related to an order are kept for the legally required period (up to 10 years).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to contact@timelapse-3d.com. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

This site uses no advertising cookies or third-party audience-measurement cookies. The only cookie set is a technical session cookie, strictly necessary to keep you signed in to your Studio account and to secure the site (anti-CSRF protection); it is deleted when you close your session or browser. It does not require consent under the applicable regulations, but the banner shown on your first visit still lets you be informed of it and to accept or decline it.

Timelapse 3D strives to provide accurate information and updates the site regularly. Models generated by artificial intelligence are provided "as is": it is up to the user to check that a model is suitable for the intended use and manufacturing method before printing.

This site is governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Draguignan, unless otherwise required by law.
