About this 3D model

One-piece ambient lamp with a futuristic hexagonal silhouette, diffusing panels, a graphite frame and cyan traces. The housing is designed, as an assumption, for a Ø59 × 8 mm 5 V USB LED module, common in printed lamp projects, with a Ø59.3 mm bore. The module slides in through the open top and its cable comes out through the base. Dimensions: 112 × 97 × 160 mm. Printing tips: Print upright, base on the build plate, with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers, 4 perimeters and 15 to 20% infill. Use graphite PETG, translucent white PETG for the panels and a compatible cyan PETG for the traces; the three zones are designed for merged multicolour printing. The shell is self-supporting; the ceiling of the cable passage forms a 16 mm bridge, with local supports if needed. Thread the connector through before lowering the module into its housing, then secure its case with a suitable thin adhesive without covering the LEDs. Use only a low-power 5 V USB LED module, about 3 W maximum, and check for heating during the first test.
